
Two Scottish university campuses have been voted as amongst the most visually spectacular in the United Kingdom.
The University of Stirling was named as having the 2nd most picturesque campus whilst the University of the Highlands and Islands was ranked 3rd place in the 'All About Careers' listing.
The survey describes the University of Stirling as 'having it all' when it comes to idyllic surroundings.
It says:
"It's got a castle, lakes, woods, meadows and acres of green space where you can frolic with gay abandon. It's even got its own 9-hole golf course."
The surrounding landscape of the University of the Highlands and Islands is described as 'simple, yet sublime'.
The survey says:
"Comprised of 13 separate colleges, it lets the dramatic natural splendour of Scotland's highlands and islands do most of the talking. Some of the locations are simply magnificent."
