For a relatively small country, Scotland's diverse calendar of music festivals is nothing short of impressive. From huge weekend-long parties to more intimate family-friendly events, our music festivals span all genres and offer something for everyone.

TRNSMT

TRNSMT is Scotland's largest outdoor music festival, taking place right in the heart of Scotland's UNESCO City of Music, Glasgow. Glasgow Green plays host to well over a hundred thousand revellers for this three day event which has welcomed some of the world's biggest bands including Radiohead, Kasabian, Biffy Clyro, The 1975 and Stormzy. The festival held it's inaugural festival in 2017, being the successor to the country's T in the Park festival.

Celtic Connections

The annual Celtic Connections festival celebrates traditional Scottish music at its absolute best. Held in Glasgow each year, the exciting programme features more than 300 concerts and showcases more than 1000 Celtic musicians from around the globe. The 18 days of concerts, seminars, talks, exhibitions and free events attracts more than 100,000 visitors each year.

Wickerman

The famous Wickerman Festival is Scotland's most popular alternative sound festival, held each year in Dumfries and Galloway, culminating in the burning of a 40-foot Wickerman effigy. This festival offers much more than just music – you can also enjoy fringe performances, roller discos, swimming and even an outdoor cinema.

HebCelt

Hosted for more than 20 years on the Isle of Lewis, the Hebridean Celtic Festival – also known as HebCelt – is a celebration of Scottish and Celtic grassroots artists. The stunning backdrop of the Outer Hebrides makes for a picturesque setting, and its diverse programme of traditional, contemporary, rock and indie-folk musicians offers a unique lineup you won't find at any other festival in the UK.
